Overdose Awareness Day

Overdose Awareness Day is August 30, 2014, at Busse Woods South in Elk Grove Village. This memorable gathering serves as the one day of the year where overdose is recognized on an international level and here in Illinois as proclaimed by Governor Quinn. Individuals, families and groups from across Illinois will be in attendance to honor those lost to accidental overdose, provide hope for those still struggling, and thank those who are working to revive victims of overdose. Any organization can get information, register as an attendee, or sign up for a sponsorship or resource table at ODAwarenessDayIL.org. Attendance and resource tables are FREE and the LCOI steering committee encourages all of you to spread the word and come on out to this important event.
